The transition from paper to glass has been organic. The way a glass-cutter’s wheels moves across glass is not dissimilar to that of a scalpel over paper, or a scalpel over clay. As seen across Lara’s body of work, the idea of fragmentation is explored through abstract and figurative pieces that make up a whole.
