The Interactive Earthquake Table (2014) can be used to explore why certain structures fall during earthquakes and others don't. Users are encouraged to stack the building blocks as they wish and then turn the handles to watch and learn as they tumble.

The table was constructed using discarded plywood and offcuts. The centre of the table is made from stretched canvas which vibrates in an earthquake-like fashion when the automata structure below hits it.
